The impact of Tohoku-Kanto Earthquake

In the midst of rapid progress of electronics
We are all deeply shocked to hear of the casualties caused by Tohoku-Kanto
Earthquake occurred on March 11th and we would like to offer our deepest
condolences to the families affected.
TOCOS sincerely hopes and prays for sooner recovery of the peoplesf life in
the areas affected by the disaster.
We would like to thank for our customers of the concern and sympathetic
inquiries extended to us.
Current status of TOCOS group companies;
Aizu Cosmos in Fukushima prefecture: Buildings have not structurally been
damaged by the quake and are in normal production from March 15th.
Shirakawa Cosmos in Fukushima prefecture: Minimal damage was observed
to the factory building and has already been recovered. The production
partially started on March 17th and now in normal operation from March
22nd.
Nakatsu Cosmos in Oita prefecture: There was no damage to the facilities
and the production runs in normal operation.
Meanwhile, we are still faced with minor problem as to distribution of goods
in Tohoku region.
We are now doing utmost to avoid any inconveniences by taking such
measures as change of delivery routes and forwarders, which please note.
