Kanagawa- March 2010- Tokyo Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. Tokyo Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. have established a new Wireless Unit as of March 29, 2010. The Wireless Unit will research and develop wireless technology focusing on the socially urgent demands of ECO/CO2 emission reduction. Conventional wired technology allows very rough control due to the small number of sensors /controllers installed. However, wireless technology makes it possible to meet the market demands such as deployment requirements of hundreds of sensors in a room The TOCOS wireless engine enables easy wireless connection to acquire sensor data and control devices for developments such as electronic/ electric appliances makers and system integrator. Electronic/electric appliances makers and system integrator can use the TOCOS wireless engine to communicate with wireless sensors and control devices. Accordingly, relevant network can be set up and provide systems that easily gather needed information in a timely manner. Besides highly advanced control system can be achieved by combination with analyzing and visualization technologies. To start this business TOCOS will release a wireless module named TOCOS Wireless Engine
